MODENA Helps Build School for Disabled Community

As one of the leading brands of home solutions, MODENA further proves to be a pioneer in providing help to those in need. With Limitless Passion which took place back in December last year, MODENA has successfully raised funds by auctioning three Retrofridge products that have been painted by 3 disabled artists, the proceeds of which will be distributed to the LB Mutiara Hati Kindergarten Foundation in Magelang.

Retrofridge's Masterpiece program conveys the message that art is not only limited to collectors, curators, or artists. However, this year's Retrofridge Masterpiece is presented with a special message, which is Limitless, that shows unlimited creativity and innovation from artists who have physical and mental limitations.

"It is indeed our dedication to continuing to give back, this time we want to highlight the talents of our friends with disabilities," said Bagus Prastowo as Director of MODENA. “We feel it is very important to continue to support our friends in the disabled community to pursue  their dreams, so we want to help make their dreams come true by building schools for them to continue their education.”

MODENA has managed to collect donations with a total of IDR 100 million from the auction that was held last year. All donations will be channeled to help the LB Mutiara Hati Kindergarten Foundation, which is engaged in providing training to children with disabilities so that they can still earn an income when they are of age. Donations gathered will be used to help build and repair school facilities.

For this project, MODENA also continued to promote the auction through the MODENA Pop Up Kitchen which is being held at Plaza Indonesia on the 1st floor. "We hope that the donations given can help build schools and help our friends with disabilities to continue to pursue their dreams because we truly believe our capability is limitless," concluded Bagus.
