MODENA launches a fundraising program "MODENA Peduli" to invite consumers and the wider community to help lighten the burden of disaster victims of the Mount Semeru Eruption that hit Supiturang Village, Lumajang, East Java on Sunday 5 December 2021. In collaboration with the online platform Kitabisa.com, MODENA will focus on raising funds to provide emergency disaster needs such as ready-to-eat food, medicines, sanitation packages, and baby and toddlers' necessities.
"Disasters like this can happen so quickly and so suddenly, so every initiative we take can certainly help ease the burden on the victims," said Bagus Prastowo, Director of MODENA. "We want to invite as many people as possible to participate by donating through the Kitabisa platform."
The following are the steps to donate:
“Together with Kitabisa.com, the funds collected will be coordinated with several local organizations and volunteers to be able to distribute the aid optimally and effectively. This synergy is expected to optimize the distribution of aid to disaster locations so that it is evenly distributed and used as needed," said Bagus.
This fundraising is also a continuation of MODENA Group's efforts along with their employees to provide essential needs for disaster victims such as drinking water, sanitation packages, and medicines. "In the future, we will also provide a set of products that can help support the construction of temporary shelters for the victims," said Bagus.
