The need for Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in order to fight COVID-19 is getting higher and higher. PT. MODENA Indonesia has also given a helping hand to the medical personnel by donating PPE that was handed to the Persatuan Perawat Nasional Indonesia (PPNI) or Indonesian National Nurses Association (INNA).

Bagus Prastowo, the Director of MODENA Indonesia shared that the PPE donation is also a part of how MODENA expresses appreciation of the tireless effort in treating COVID-19 patients in Indonesia that keep on increasing. Bagus hopes that with the donation of PPE, they can meet the high demands of those protective gears.

“The high demand of PPE for medical personnel was the reason why MODENA chose our way to help. As the front line to treat COVID-19 patients, PPE is a necessity for medical personnel to lower the risk of contracting the virus while also keeping themselves safe in doing their duty. This is also one of the ways to prevent the spread of COVID-19 within their workplace,” stated Bagus in his written statement.

Bagus also added, other than taking part in handling the virus through donation, MODENA also implemented certain measures to reduce the rate of the Coronavirus spread within the workplace while not forgetting the service to customers. Such as implementing Work From Home for employees, spraying disinfectant, and also only doing online meetings.

“It is our responsibility to fight COVID-19 together. We hope that MODENA’s support for the medical personnel will provide them many benefits, as well as an invitation for every party to also participate in protecting those who are at the front line in fighting COVID-19. Implementing a healthier and cleaner lifestyle as well as following the guidelines from the government is a step that we all can take to break the chain of the Coronavirus spread,” he concluded.
