MODENA Donates Air Purifier to Several Hospitals in Indonesia in Support of Health Workers

MODENA once again shows its commitment to helping the communities in need. This time, MODENA supports those who have been battling the pandemic tirelessly for the last two years. After the donation of Personel Protective Equipment (PPE) for health workers and organizing vaccine centers around Jakarta, this time MODENA provides support in donating one of the leading products which is the MODENA Air Purifier AP 6034 SKY to several hospitals in Jakarta, Semarang, and Surabaya.

“We truly understand how challenging it is for the health workers who have to help those who are COVID-19 positive every day, and we truly do deeply admire them for their work. Therefore we want to provide a product that will help protect them from the virus and other harmful bacteria,” explains Tommy Pratomo, as Head of Corporate Communication MODENA. “With this, we hope to provide effective protection and show our appreciation for doctors and health workers.”

The product distribution will be distributed to several hospitals in Jakarta in collaboration with Habitat for Humanity Indonesia, which are the Rumah Sakit Penyakit Infeksi (RSPI) Prof. Dr. Sulianti Saroso, Rumah Sakit Pusat Angkatan Darat (RSPAD) Gatot Soebroto, dan Rumah Sakit Umum Pusat (RSUP) Persahabatan. As for East Java, the distribution will be given to the Rumah Sakit Pusat Angkatan Laut (RSAL) Dr. Ramelan Surabaya, Puskesmas Ardimulyo Malang dan Rumah Sakit Bhayangkara Kediri. And the last city in the first batch, Semarang, will be distributed to the Rumah Sakit Umum Pusat (RSUP) Dr. Kariadi Semarang dan Rumah Sakit St. Elisabeth.

The AP 6034 SKY Air Purifier will be placed at several points around the hospital such as the Vaccine Poly and ODP (People Under Supervision) Poly so that the product can work effectively. The AP 6024 SKY Air Purifier has also been equipped with features and technologies that ensure viruses and bacteria in the air can be filtered effectively, such as the HEPA Filter. “Why are we giving out Air Purifiers? Because this product has been proven to protect users from viruses with leading technology such as the HEPA filter, which can remove 99.97% of particles in the air, trapping small particles and allergens such as pollen and dust, " explains Tommy.

HEPA or High-Efficiency Particulate Air is a type of mechanical air filter that works by filtering dust, cigarette smoke, animal fur, and others contained in the air. These filters can help maintain the cleanliness of the air in an enclosed space.

"Surely this won’t be the last time MODENA shows support towards the heroes who have been tirelessly protecting us for the last two years," Tommy continues. "MODENA will continue to provide other assistance in the following phases as an effort to end this pandemic as soon as possible."
