Jakarta, Indonesia – In recent years, access to clean and safe drinking water has become more limited, prompting many people to opt for bottled water. While bottled water is considered safe for consumption, it leads to a significant amount of plastic waste that harms the environment. MODENA, a brand committed to making life easier for everyone, is taking action to address this issue. To promote public access to clean and safe drinking water, MODENA has launched the Pure Hub, a purified tap water station located in Senayan Park (SPark) Mall. This initiative is in line with the company's long-held value of sustainability, which includes reducing waste and promoting environmental stewardship. 

Located near public spaces such as Gelora Bung Karno, FX Sudirman, and the bustling Senayan road, SPark is an ideal location to kickstart MODENA's mission to bring clean and safe drinking water to everyone. Over the next five years, MODENA plans to expand this initiative by opening at least 20 Pure Hubs in various public spaces throughout Indonesia, particularly in areas where access to clean water is limited. 

MODENA has strategically placed several RO Water Purifiers throughout the SPark area, allowing the public to easily access free drinking water while in public spaces. The purifiers use Reverse Osmosis (RO) technology to purify the water, removing contaminants and dirt through a membrane with very small pores. This produces ready-to-drink water that is free from bacteria, germs, viruses, and various other harmful substances. The Pure Hub launch was made even more exciting with a cooking demonstration, themed ‘Healthy Recipes with Purified Water’ featuring Chef Christo, the Resident Chef for Culinaria MODENA. With the same mission as the Pure Hub, the demo aimed to raise public awareness that the water produced through the RO purification process is safe for consumption, both for drinking and cooking. Furthermore, MODENA is preparing other exciting events to be held at the MODENA Pure Hub throughout the year.
