The Delectable Sensation of Award-Winning Restaurant MAURI at MODENA Experience Center Suryo

MODENA has once again proved its commitment as a pioneer of the home solutions brand in Indonesia, to present not only innovation but other exciting activities and events for customers. This time, MODENA Culinaria presents an exclusive five-star dinner experience from Bali for loyal customers in Jakarta, 'Kitchen Takeover by Chef Maurizio Bombini'. 

MAURI, located in Seminyak, Bali, was crowned as the 6th Best Fine Dining Restaurant in Asia in 2021 by Trip Advisor and was just given an Award of Excellence in 2021 by Wine Spectator. Headed by Chef Maurizio Bombini with his experience of more than 10 years excelling in various renowned restaurants, the menu served by MAURI is composed of contemporary Italian dishes with a touch of tradition where ingredients are handled with so much care and attention to showcase the most authentic flavors.  

“We are aware of the high interest and enthusiasm in Jakarta for the food & beverage industry. That is why we present this Kitchen Takeover as a program from MODENA Culinaria as a treat for the customers. In addition to providing modern home appliances, we also want our customers to be a part of an extraordinary dining experience from chefs or restaurants that we have curated in MODENA's kitchens," explained Nicole Jizhar, as Executive Vice President of MODENA. “This dining concept is very intimate, so reservations are also limited. We want consumers to be able to meet and chat directly with chefs and get inspiration from the stories behind the menus and the chef's culinary journey while also learning cooking techniques from the signature dishes." 

Taking place from 24 to 27 March 2022, MAURI comes to present their specialties at MODENA Experience Center Suryo. MAURI Tasting Menu is available from 24 – 26 March 2022 for dinner, which starts from 6 pm with the price of IDR 1,080,000 net per person that includes a 5-course dinner and 1 digestive cocktail. MAURI Tasting Lunch is also available on Saturday, 26 March 2022 at 12 pm which serves a 3-course tasting menu at IDR 680,000 net per person. For Sunday, 27 March 2022, MAURI Sunday Brunch is available starting at 10.30 am at a price of IDR 880,000 net per person presenting a series of MAURI's favorite brunch menus.  

“We are so excited to have an exclusive dining event with MODENA. On this occasion, we will make sure to showcase our latest specialties from MAURI such as “Ricciola”, which is a Japanese Hamachi served with avocado, raspberry caviar, and citrus dressing. Then, we will also present “Tortelli”, Neapolitan Wagyu Beef Tortelli with parmesan cream and tomato powder, and “Merluzzo”, grilled Atlantic cod with camouflage sauce,” explains Chef Mauri. "Then for the final touch, we will close it with a Signature Tiramisu made directly at the guest table." 

“This is our second time to host a Kitchen Takeover. Looking back at the high enthusiasm from the customers made us even more excited to invite other chefs and restaurants for the next session. We hope this Kitchen Takeover can open opportunities for culinary industry players to be able to show their creations more easily to the market in Jakarta.
